On March 6, 2022, Freddie Mac introduced a desktop appraisal option in lieu of an interior and exterior inspection appraisals for certain purchase transactions that meet certain eligibility requirements. Â At this time LoanStream has not released this option. Please share with your teams that the desktop appraisal is not accepted and that we still require a full appraisal product. LoanStream will still allow the PIW when applicable.
